During the fourteenth meeting of the International Health Regulations (2005) (IHR) Emergency Committee regarding the coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID19) pandemic (Friday 27 January 2023, 14:00 to 17:00 CET), the Emergency Committee advised the World Health Organization Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, that the covid19 pandemic remains a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
The WHO Director-General accepted the advice of the Committee.
