In one of the latest entries on his interesting Ground Truths blog, Dr. Eric Topol presents a review of different studies confirming that Covid is associated with an excess of heart attacks and strokes beyond the first month of infection. These studies indicate an approximate doubling of the risk of heart attack and stroke late after COVID, along with other major adverse cardiovascular outcomes.
